- Put the clamp meter around the Red, Yellow & Blue cable one by one and note down the ampere rating. Now add the numbers in case of single phase requirement or pick the highest in case of three phase requirement.
- Select your kVA from the above given ampere chart and see under which rating your requirement falls.
Note:
- After putting the clamp meter around the cable; turn off and on the heavy machines/equipments for better calculation. Also always select a rating 20% higher to your load for long term usage.
